My name is Marianna Basile, a disciple of King Jesus, Yahweh and the Holy Spirit and I welcome you to my blog.

On the suggestion and encouragement of friends, I am starting this blog which is created for discussion on Christianity, Scriptures, and the Lord Jesus Christ, The King.  We do this so that we may learn to rightly “handle the word of truth”.  We are called to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).  We are not to remain infants drinking only formula not accustomed to the word of righteousness therefore not being able to discern good from evil, truth from the false, but we are to grow in maturity (Hebrews 5:13,14). We are to crave the pure, unadulterated truth of God’s Word so that by it we may grow in respect to salvation, (1 Peter 2:2). We are to be diligent in making our calling and election sure (2 Peter 1:10).  We are called to be students (matheteous, Matthew 28:19) of Christ Jesus to come to fuller knowledge of Him and to bring Him glory. So, let’s get to the diligent work of being ever-growing students of the Living Word!

Sola Scriptura: The Scripture Alone is the Standard

Soli Deo Gloria! For the Glory of God Alone

Sola Gratia: Salvation by Grace Alone

Sola Fide: Justification by Faith Alone
